We offer traditional, partnership and service contracts, where importantly, you continue to hold the copyright to your book at all stages of the process and beyond.
At this stage, we’re offering limited traditional contracts, but we’re excited to bring a new format to publishing through our publishing partnerships contracts. This isn’t vanity publishing, we match your time, effort and contributions, and add our own resources too, to ensure we’ve both got skin in the game when it comes to making your book a success. A genuine partnership approach.
Our publishing partnership packages aim to take your book to the next level:
Prelude. This is our initial publishing contract.
It includes an assessment and editing of your book, cover design, registration, an author page on our site, initial public relations and listings of your novel, and the most exciting bit - the first run of your books to unbox!Chapter + Verse. This is our next level contract.
It includes everything from Prelude, plus we’ll setup a website and social media accounts for you, submit your book for reviews in your genre, and help you with further marketing, events and public relations.Epilogue. This is our premium contract.
It includes all the benefits of Prelude and Chapter + Verse, and we’ll add ongoing support for your website, social media and public relations on an annual or monthly basis.

Prelude
Our publishing partnership starts here…

We’ll review your manuscript to see if it’s something we can help you share with the world. If so, we’ll offer you a contract and the options for enhancing our publishing partnership.

We’ll review your manuscript in detail and suggest changes and edits. You will have control over the changes and whether to accept them - as we said, this is your book, we’re just here to help.

You will be given the opportunity to submit ideas on the cover design and blurb. Our team will design the visuals and edit the blurb to entice readers and buyers. You’ll sign off on the final design.

We’ll handle the admin and get your book registered on international systems. It’s important to note, you will continue to hold the copyright for your book - and we’ll make sure that’s all in the first pages of the publication.

Our team will send out media releases and social media posts announcing your book’s publication date! We’ll forward any interview or media requests to you.

We’ll contact a large range of book distribution platforms, online and physical stores to list your books. It’s a super competitive space, but we’ll ensure your books are available online via multiple platforms, including Amazon and eBook platforms.

As part of the partnership, we’ll send you 20 complimentary copies of your book to put on your shelves, giveaway to friends and family, or sell for profit.

We’ll add you to our website giving you a reference point to add to your SEO and brand building!
Chapter + Verse

You’ll get all the services in Prelude, including Assessment, Editing, Cover Design, Registration, Initial Public Relations and Listings, First Prints and Author Page.

Our team will build you a standalone author website, usually yourname.com, yourname.com.au, or similar. We will work with you on the design and what you’d like included.

We’ll help you set up your social media accounts and share the good news of your book’s publication. And, we’ll share some tips on how and what to post to increase your audience.

We will send your manuscript to reviewers in your genre and ask them to consider giving your book a review which we can use to publicise the work. We can also look at options for paid reviews based on your budget.

Our team will design QR codes and flyers for use at events and book signings. We’ll try to generate media interest in your novel by approaching traditional and social media platforms and influencers. And, we can work with you to design an advertising and communications plan suited to your budget.

We’ll design event materials and help organise banners, marquees and other event paraphernalia. We can also help you map out local events and writers festivals, and put your name and novel forward to organisers for consideration.

You’ll get all the services from Prelude and Chapter + Verse, and you can choose from a number of options to get ongoing support for administering and marketing you and your works. These options could include website and social media monitoring and maintenance, additional PR support or even hiring us to record the audio version of your book. These services can be one-off, monthly recurring or annually recurring add-ons.

We know you’d rather be writing your next book, so we can handle the admin on your website, including handling orders and enquiries. You can select this as a monthly or annual recurring service.

We know you’d rather be writing your next book, so we can handle the admin on your socials, including responding to posts and engaging with other profiles to build your social presence. You can select this as a monthly or annual recurring service.

We can act as your media representative and handle all your incoming media requests to help you lock in media appearances and events to promote you and your works. This service can be monthly or annually recurring.

We’ll record an audio version of your book and prepare the files for upload to Audible and other audiobook sites and apps. This is a one-off service per book and will be priced according to the complexity and size of the book and time needed.
Our Process
It all starts by submitting your manuscript.
We then review it and see if we think we can help you on your way to publication. If not, you’ll be able to rework it with our feedback and resubmit. If we believe we can become your publishing partner, you’ll be offered a contract.
If you receive a traditional contract, you’ll see the terms and conditions, including the upfront payment we’ll offer you and the royalty rates you’ll receive. We’ll take a little bit more control over editorial decisions and design choices, and we’ll present a list of the services you’ll receive.
If you receive a publishing partnership contract, you’ll be able to select the Prelude, Chapter + Verse or Epilogue package and see the contributions we’ll both make to publish your novel, plus the royalty rates you’ll receive for book sales. You’ll have more control and choice, for example, you’ll be able to accept or reject suggested changes - it’s your book! - we’re just here to help. We’ll also put in our own additional time and effort to ensure we’re making a significant contribution towards our shared success - it’s not all on you - it’s a genuine partnership.
Once signed, we’ll get to work editing and designing your novel, and once the complete, we’ll move to register your book and list it with distributors and retailers. We’ll also start working on the initial PR and marketing. We’ll look to submit your book for reviews and add additional PR, events and marketing support, and design your website and socials.
If you’d rather self-publish and just need some help, we’ve also got a range of individual services with you can hire us to deliver.
Possibly the most exciting stage of all will be the arrival of your complementary copies of your published book!
